W for Walrus

We are currently working on our Mommy and Me ABC units.  This week we did the letter W and Walrus.  However, between providing backup daycare and having two Praxis II exams this week, not much Tot School happened.  Unless otherwise specified, all of the printables are from my Mommy and Me ABC Printables, which are free as we complete them (for a detailed list of all the materials in the printables, check out this post).
Puzzles
We did some W and Walrus puzzles, both store bought and homemade.
 Letter Clipping
 Letter Maze
Finding all the Ws to get the baby walrus to its mommy.  He used Do-A-Dot markes to mark all of the Ws.
Tracing
Getting the babies to the mommies in his dry erase center.

  Art
This week's art was simple!  We just used Do-A-Dot markers to decorate some Ws.  Our friend enjoyed decorating some as well.
We also made a walrus out of construction paper.  I just made two circles and then traced his hands for the flippers.  He had fun gluing on some pipe cleaners, google eyes, and tusks.
Walrus Cutting Strips
Using his training scissors to cut apart the walruses.
Other Tot School Activities
He really enjoyed finding all the letters in his alphabet floor puzzle.
Working on some phonics with his Word Launch game.
