Shark Counting Spinner Game

I wanted a counting game to go with our ocean tot school theme, so I made this shark spinner game. The idea is that you spin a number, and then find a card with that number of fish on it to feed to the shark.

I printed onto cardstock and laminated the pieces. I taped the shark to a cube made out of magnatiles. I taped one of these spinners to a CD case and then can just switch out the spinner inside.

Tot School - Squares

We have been working on a shape a week, as well as doing other themed activities

These are the shape related activities. Juniper was about 23 months.
This was her little area on our play room wall. The poster is from The Learning Effect. The rest is her completed work for the week.
Coloring some squares. (Printable found here).
Practicing tracing in her dry erase center. She still needs a lot of help, but she enjoys it. (Printable found here)
Do a Dot markers for her square dot page.
Play dough included some fondant cutters, cookie cutters, a roller and  a stamp
We practiced matching with some Qwirkle pieces
Q-tip painting
Playing with some pentominoes with her brother. They spent some time "building" and then we made colored paths for her little sorting people.
Sorting cars and garages have been a huge hit lately.

Tot School Farm Theme

Lately we have been doing a shape a week, as well as a fun theme for Tot School activities. Most recently, we did a farm theme. Here are some activities we did.

Matching  Farm Babies vocabulary cards. Juniper could mostly do these independently, but needed some encouragement to keep going.
Farm sensory bin. I used oats as a base, some farm Toob animals and some funny shaped pasta.
Farm counters and number cards.
Farm blocks were a big hit.
Some farm puzzles.
