Tiny Artist

Anyone who follows me on Pinterest knows that I love kids arts and crafts.  When I had a step daughter, we did at least one project a week.  However, Xander is still pretty young, so we haven't done much.  Well I want to change that!  My new goal is to do some sort of small art project at least every other week.  The challenge will be finding even remotely age appropriate things!

Our first project was super simple!  I started with the squares coloring worksheet (from my squares printables).  I helped Xander color the right colors in the correct squares.

Then I cut them out and had him help me glue them down to a square piece of paper.  This was our first real experience with a glue stick.

Final product.  Sorry, I should have taken a picture of it on a darker background.  This is the collage hanging on his marker board that hangs above his desk.
